Rhubarb Compote

  1. 1 kg rhubarbs
  2. 600 gr sugar
  3. 2 tablespoons of vanilla sugar

Clean the rhubarbs and cut them into small bites (1 cm). Put the rhubarbs, sugar and vanilla into a pot and let it simmer for about 15 min. Don´t let the rhubarbs fall totally apart. Put the compote into a clean glass jar. Put the lid on immediately.

  • Goes well with beef, waffles or ice cream.
